Head Hunter jig heads offer excellent value for money for those just getting into lure fishing, and anglers spending a lot of time on the water, with plenty of jig heads in each pack. The 1/20oz, 3/0 hook is an excellent choice when targeting flathead in shallow waters, and hungry bream that live underneath wharves and pontoons.
They are built on quality Mustad Aberdeen hooks, and are ideal for light tackle sport fishing. When hooking the fish, try not to strike too hard, just let the fish suck it in as you let it float down through the water column.
You could also use this size jig head with a minnow-style soft plastic, and work it through a school of feeding surface fish. If you are in a boat and are anchored, you could also slowly feed the jig head and plastic out of the back of the boat. Make sure that you either have the bail disengaged or are using a bait feeder threadline. When the fish takes the soft plastic, the fun will start.
